Rules for browsing the website, using your account and operating services.
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of PlaceHeberg, operated by Oricube. Purchases are governed by the terms of sale and the plan confirmed in the order. Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy.
Browsing a plan is not an order. When resources are unavailable, the relevant configuration or order button is disabled and reads “Out of stock”.
2. Accounts and access
Users must provide accurate information, update their contact details and protect their credentials. Unauthorised use should be reported promptly. Subusers may act only within the permissions granted by the service owner.
Account recovery is available on the website. Service credentials, including SFTP credentials, are for authorised users only and must not be shared in public discussions or with the assistant.
3. Resources
An individual game service provides one server; Place Box distributes a shared resource budget between several servers within the plan’s limits. CPU, memory, storage, database and network allocation quotas are specified in the contractual configuration.
Bootcores are temporary additional CPU at startup, not permanent resources. Estimated player counts, target frequencies and a 30-day monthly reference do not guarantee capacity, sustained frequency or uninterrupted availability.
4. Acceptable use
Customers must hold the necessary rights for hosted content and software, comply with software and game licences, and respect the rules applying to their users’ data.
Illegal content, infringement of third-party rights, malware, phishing, spam, network attacks, unauthorised access and exploiting vulnerabilities are prohibited. Circumventing quotas or compromising other services may lead to proportionate restrictions.
5. Security and backups
Customers must maintain their software and suitable backups. Any included backup features do not remove the need to verify that data can be restored.
Oricube takes measures to protect its platform. Restrictions or suspension may be necessary for a security risk, illegal use, a legal obligation or breach of contract. Unless urgency or a legal restriction prevents it, customers are informed of the grounds and may challenge the decision through support. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
6. Tools and assistance
Available tools depend on the plan and permissions: console, files, databases, schedules, backups and settings. Users should check the consequences before confirming a command, shutdown or deletion.
The local assistant provides automated answers and diagnostics that may be incomplete. Proposed server actions require user confirmation and remain limited to that user’s services. A support ticket may include the conversation and diagnostic.
7. Personal data
Account and support data are processed as described in the privacy policy. Customers remain responsible for their own users’ data. When Oricube processes personal data on their behalf, an appropriate data processing agreement must cover instructions, security and relevant subprocessors.
8. Availability and liability
The Status page shows available measurements and history; it does not itself create a contractual availability commitment. Simulated periods and missing measurements are identified.
Liability is assessed under applicable law and contractual obligations. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes and complaints
Versions are dated. Publishing a change does not retrospectively remove rights under an existing contract. Questions, complaints and account closure requests may be sent to support or the contact in the legal information.
